We have six main categories for which we accept submissions:​

Policing & Law Enforcement/ Justice system: Scion Press is always interested in hearing from and about those in this industry.

Social Issues: We are interested in manuscripts that relate to equal justice, not just in the legal system, but in all aspects of society. At Scion, we look to create positive change in whatever areas we can.

History: Manuscripts regarding North American history, World history or a specific event.

Education: Brief textbooks and revision guides

Biographical and Memoir: We accept manuscripts of biographic and autobiographic nature.
